The ethic of care

l'éthique du care (ou du soin)

separation is justified by an ethic of rights while attachment is supported by an ethic of care. The morality of rights is predicated on equality and centered on the understanding of fairness, while the ethic of responsibility relies on the concept of equity, the recognition of differences in need.
Carol Gilligan, In a Different Voice, ch. 6, « Visions of Maturity », p. 164-165 (citation en anglais). Harvard University Press, 1982

这一表述出自吉利根,她用英语写作——an ethic of care(care 一词将关怀、关切与专注融为一体)。

其定义建立在鲜明的对立之上:separation is justified by an ethic of rights while attachment is supported by an ethic of care——分离由权利伦理所正当化,而联结则由关怀伦理所支撑。吉利根进一步阐明这一区分:the morality of rights is predicated on equality and centered on the understanding of fairness, while the ethic of responsibility relies on the concept of equity, the recognition of differences in need。
